The story behind Bloemenhuis Duivenvoorden

A family business since 1943

Bloemenhuis Duivenvoorden has been a familiar sight in the heart of Wassenaar since 1943. During the war years, Arie Duivenvoorden opened his flower shop in the characteristic building on Kerkstraat, a location that remains our permanent home to this day.

What started as a local florist for residents of Wassenaar, grew under the leadership of his son Kees Duivenvoorden and later grandson Peter Duivenvoorden into an established name in floral arrangements throughout the Randstad and beyond.

With three generations of experience, we are proud of our roots and the personal approach that comes with it.

Specialized floral arrangements for every occasion

While many florists focus on everyday bouquets, we focus on floral arrangements for special occasions. Think of funerals, weddings, parties, events, and corporate décor. Our floral arrangements are carefully crafted and always complement the atmosphere of the occasion.

Bloemenhuis Duivenvoorden is known for the luxurious appearance of its floral arrangements and the precision with which we work. Our slogan is therefore: "For every occasion where flowers matter." Customers appreciate our relaxed approach, our attention to detail, and the fact that we take our promises seriously.

Collaborations and partners in the region

Over the years, we have built a close collaboration with a broad network of partners in Wassenaar and the rest of South Holland.

For years, we have been providing floral arrangements for various funeral organizations, caterers, event agencies, and companies: from local businesses to international organizations.

We also cater to private clients, whether they're looking for a subtle farewell arrangement or a festive floral arrangement for a special day. Our style is recognizable: artisanal, stylish, and always tailored to the client's wishes.
